
Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Jed L. Goad is a native of Galax, Virginia.
He was a Distinguished Military Graduate and commissioned through the
U.S. Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program.
He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics
from Washington and Lee University and his Masters of Science
in Human Development and Leadership from Murray State University.
LTC Goad served 21 years on active duty in the U.S. Army as a leader and aviator.
He has commanded at the company and battalion level and held numerous staff positions.
He has flown UH-1 (HUEY), UH-60 (Blackhawk), CH-47 (Chinook),
and MH-47 (Special Operations Chinook) helicopters.
His assignments and duties have taken him all over the world to include
Central America, Korea, the Middle East, and Europe.
His military education includes the Infantry Officer Basic Course,
Rotary Wing Flight School, Airborne Course, Air Assault Course,
Aviation Officer Advance Course, U.S. Army Special Operations SERE School,
Combined Arms Service Staff School, and the U.S. Army Command and Staff College.
LTC Goad and his wife, Kimberly, have three children, Stefanie, Clayton, and Nicole.
His hobbies include reading, physical fitness and off-road motorcycling.

Master Sergeant Adams is a native of Moss Point, Mississippi.
She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Business Management while serving
in the military through National-Louis University out of Alexandria, VA.
MSG Adams served 21 years on active duty in the U.S. Army
as a Food Service Specialist and Human Resource Manager.
She has held numerous leadership positions from a squad leader to a first sergeant.
She has served on numerous staff positions as a Senior Human Resource Manager.
Her places of assignments where with the 20th Engineer Brigade,
the famous 82nd Airborne Division, 18th Airborne Corps,
101st Air Assault Airborne Division, and the Department of the Army.
She has attended several military schools such as the Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Course,
the Advance Non-Commissioned Officer Course, Airborne School,
Jumpmaster School, Drill Sergeant School and Battle Staff.
Her assignments and positions have taken her from Fort Bragg, NC to Europe, Korea,
Fort Jackson, SC, Alexandria, VA and Fort Campbell, KY.
She has deployed to both wars in Saudi Arabia and Iraq. Her hobbies include reading the Bible,
exercising and watching plenty of sports.
