
Major (Retired) James H. Embry is a native of Hartford, Kentucky.
He enlisted in the US Army in 1964, applied for flight school, and commissioned
as a Warrant Officer in September 1965. He later commissioned
as a 2LT in Armor in 1967 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Military History in 1976.
He served 20 years as active duty in the US Army as an Armor officer, aviation.
Major Embry has commanded at the company level, held numerous staff positions,
been a Corps Commandant, and taught JROTC for 24 years. Major Embry and his wife,
LaDonna, have two children: James Ryan and Laigh Ann.
His hobby is gardening.

Master Sergeant (Retired) Tonya Adams is a native of Moss Point, Mississippi.
She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Business Management while serving
in the military through National-Louis University out of Alexandria, VA.
MSG Adams served 21 years on active duty in the U.S. Army
as a Food Service Specialist and Human Resource Manager.
She has held numerous leadership positions from a squad leader to a first sergeant.
She has served on numerous staff positions as a Senior Human Resource Manager.
Her places of assignments where with the 20th Engineer Brigade,
the famous 82nd Airborne Division, 18th Airborne Corps,
101st Air Assault Airborne Division, and the Department of the Army.
She has attended several military schools such as the Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Course,
the Advance Non-Commissioned Officer Course, Airborne School,
Jumpmaster School, Drill Sergeant School and Battle Staff.
Her assignments and positions have taken her from Fort Bragg, NC to Europe, Korea,
Fort Jackson, SC, Alexandria, VA and Fort Campbell, KY.
She has deployed to both wars in Saudi Arabia and Iraq. Her hobbies include reading the Bible,
exercising and watching plenty of sports.
